How to record animation for a case?

I often notice that many designers, when creating a portfolio case, use a video or gif to demonstrate the animation of the site. How do they record it? Through desktop video recording? And then convert to gif? But a gif won't allow you to make an animation at 50 frames per second, right? But I often see very smooth animations in cases. For example, this often appears on behance.

Such animations are created in After Effects or similar editors. Well, 50 frames are not required at all. You can start with 12. 15 definitely looks quite smooth already.

I don’t know how others do it, but I would import the necessary elements from Adobe Animate, make it there and convert it to the format that I need, you can even save it in HTML5. How banners are made here and there - primitive animation.
