How to record a video course?

The Internet is full of different advice on the topic of do it, do it.
But it's not entirely clear

  1. how to record a video course - I have the material ready, everything is divided into information blocks and divided by topic.
  2. is it worth showing the screen with something? If so, with what? With something on the topic of what you are talking about?
  3. or prepare a presentation and just sort of talk about it?

How to park and distribute is also clear.
It is not clear how to qualitatively and competently make the first product.
Or do not bother at all and write down how it goes? And after collecting feedback, remake it as recommended?

So, in order:
1) If the materials are already ready, and everything is divided into parts, then simply record each part separately. 1 part = 1 video. For each part, prepare a thematic presentation / slides and demonstrate them on the screen.
2) There are a lot of programs for recording video. The same Camtasia / OBS.
3) Important(!) Sound needs to be processed after recording. See youtube "sound editing". In general, it is desirable to write the sound separately, and then synchronize it with the video sequence.
4) The footage must be clean. There should be no hesitation / reservations / half-hour attempts to remember something, etc. If we stumble somewhere, then we re-record this moment, and then we cut it in the video editor.
5) If there are additional materials, they must be attached to the course. No need to say in the video "There is such a [really-needed-thing], but I'm too lazy to look for it, so you can find it yourself on the Internet.". All materials must be attached to the course in a separate archive.
6) No need to make stupid "decorators". Here I mean programs that assemble video into an EXE file, make menus, etc. DO NOT NEED this.
7) Encode video only with normal codecs. No need to look for some exotic codec that plays 1 backward player only on win95 and only on a full moon.
Something like that. General tips to help you make a decent course. 90% of course makers do complete crap, which is even scary to download.
In general, I advise you to look at the courses on lynda.com / laracasts.com /tutsplus.com . These sites mostly have well-designed courses.
Only I ask, DO NOT WATCH Russian courses. 90% of courses in RuNet show how NOT to do it. They contain all the worst that you can think of. See western courses from well-known firms.

Questions don't make sense apart from the specifics.
The form must match the content.
And if you "record it as it turns out" - no one will try to watch it a second time. You will look for a new audience.

Here , for example, is a free screen and microphone recording program. Check out the tutorials. What these people demonstrated, take it as a model and also do it. It won't work perfectly the first time, so do it well and improve based on feedback. and call later, like Master class 1.5 or training-2015 there, and people will understand that the course has improved
