How to reboot Server 2012 R2 remotely?
We have: access to a remote network in which there is a "problem" server with Windows Server 2012 R2 (workgroup), on which the terminal server has hung in an unknown way. When connecting via RDP, the eternal "Setting up a remote session".
Also, if it comes in handy, there is RDP access to the nearby Server 2008 R2.
There is no physical access to the server. There is an admin username and password. Tried psshutdown and normal shutdown - doesn't work.
How would you reload it?

There is such an article interface31.ru/tech_it/2015/11/adminu-na-zametku-1... Have you tried everything?
Try connecting through "Computer Management", "Action", "Connect to another computer". If you can, access the services - restart the ones you need.
None of the options help, they all say "Unable to connect" or something like that.
It is possible to overload through the IPMI port, but for this it is necessary that it be configured.
You can turn off the power in a peasant way either from ups-a or from the network :)
The main thing is that it is configured in the BIOS when power is turned on. When you really need it once, you can;)
