I'm writing an android client for LiveJournal using the local XMLRPC API. Found that it is very flawed, looked at the source . To add, for example, the ability to receive someone else's tape of friends - just spit. However, my support question remains unanswered, and PMs to people identified as developers are also ignored.
Perhaps someone has a more reliable way to get through?
