How to quickly make a reference model for further retopology?
Tell me some approach for quick reference modeling for further retopology. I'm trying to do it in cinema 4d with boolean ones, but the mesh is terrible with layered polygons, clearing this crap, then the meaning of retopology is lost. Maybe some links, advice? Thanks.

Why do you need a grid on the reference? This is usually done: either they make up a model from primitives, and then build a grid "on top", or build a shape with Boolean operations, and then either cut the grid on the resulting geometry, or also build a correct grid on top. The meaning of retopology is precisely in clearing all this "haemorrhoids". It's not the most interesting thing, but what can you do.
