How to put Ubuntu on a hard drive without erasing data?
There is a hard drive with photos and other important information. Is it possible to put Ubuntu next to it? The flash drive is not suitable because it does not live long. On the Internet, I found a way to put Ubuntu next to another OC, but not other files.

It is possible, but why?
Just when installing via GParted, reduce the existing partition, allocate 20-30 gigabytes to Bubunt and install.
In general, you can install Ubuntu from Windows via wubi without all the unnecessary gestures (it was definitely possible before). Enough to touch.
