Given: cookbook chef, in which something is put. You need to add the rsa private key to the attributes of the cookbook, you yourself know what it looks like. How can I do that? If the attributes fail, how can I force the attribute file to read the text from the file?

Well, actually, there are heatplates where you can put a file, a config, and whatever your heart desires.
If the cookbook does nothing with the key (and I'm sure you won't) except to put it in the right place, then the template is what the authors prescribed.
