How to put mac os x and windows on one disk?
I am engaged in web development, I wanted to try to work in mac os, see what sketch is, use various editors and other software that are not in Windows. I don’t want to switch completely yet, so I want two wasps and a bootloader to switch.
I have the following hardware - intel core i5 2400, GA-Z77-DS3H, 16gb ram, gtx-1060, kingston sv300s37a240g - 240 GB ssd.
Here is a similar assembly, everything seems to work out.
Before that, I calmly installed linux + windows, everything was in order, but there were a lot of problems and questions with the mac.
The problems started with the creation of a bootable flash drive.
Found a good tutorial here, but this requires another computer with macos installed, which is a bit odd. Probably you can download a poppy image for a virtual machine and already there to pull off these machinations ... But this is somehow strange, right?
As a result, I downloaded the image from here , did everything according to the instructions, it seemed to work out, but the apple installer does not allow me to split the disk ... The "split into sections" item is not active and that's it. I split it into 2 volumes in Windows, tried again ... "The guid partition table scheme is required." What does this mean? That you need to format the entire disk, and after that he will mark it up? But somehow people put it on one disk ... And if I format the disk, install a poppy, can I then install Windows there or will there be similar problems?
What else can be done? Try to create partition on HDD? Buy another 60 GB SDD and put on it?
