How to push locally to a non-bare repository?

There is a local repository and its clone, all on the same machine.
How to push from clone to origin master?
Knocks out an error that non-barethe repository.
Having created a new repository now bare, but I'm not catching up on how to use it - it turns out that it contains not my sources, but the contents of the .git.
How to properly and safely push without making a repository bare?

right - do not push to a non-bare repository.
