How to publish Java (RESR API) project on hosting?

Hello Toasters.
I have a Maven project and a Mysql database.
I connect to MySQL via Tomcat 7
I send GET, POST requests to the local server (localhost), everything is OK.
But how to publish your project on Hosting in its current form, without any special alterations.
Use hosting or better VPS(VDS) server.
Share your experience in implementing similar tasks.
Or a link to a possible solution

VPS is a good option.
