How to publish e-mail on site pages?

Good day.
Is it necessary nowadays to hide/deceive spambots by publishing your email address on the site pages? Or are these all stories and the days of bots are gone? Increasingly, I began to notice e-mails in open form on websites. It seems that this no longer soars, but I would not want to find tons of spam in my box.
Here is an interesting article on the subject, dated 2008. Relevant or can not bathe?
I would like to place on the site a link like mailto:[email protected]

Post in the open. Personally, I cringe from sites where the soap is a picture. What the hell is typing mail by hand these days?
Spam has become less, it will not take long to delete. Consider it a payment for the fact that your client or anyone on your site is comfortable.

I always post email openly.
There is spam, but it is not enough and it does not bother me.

I agree that there is no need to hide. Is it
possible (my comment)

Gmail'ovsky address I place openly and I'm not worried. Spam is perfectly filtered and I do not see it, once a week I go over my eyes and delete it. The benefit is obvious. By the way, another plus is accessibility. Screen readers and others like them do not see images and addresses with obfuscation.

Many encrypt in Unicode. For example, at hack-store.com we use cloudflare for this purpose
