How to publish a private android application?

Hello!
I need to publish a private application on the Google Play store, which will be available only to a certain circle of people, preferably those to whom I will give a link, or give personal permission to download. The need for privacy - testing the application by a certain circle of people. The application itself is still somewhat damp in places, especially in terms of design - not all devices and screen orientations are supported. This part is still far from ideal, because. the main task now is to show and test the functionality. Will such an application pass moderation or is it not carried out for closed applications?
From the official docks, I understand that private applications can be created within organizations and their employees get access to them. How exactly this is achieved I did not understand, therefore, those who are in the know - please explain)

There is such a thing - alpha version and beta version. Only testers have access to these versions. The list of testers is contained in a google group that you can edit and specify as a tester group in the developer console. Testers can be anything - the main thing is the gmail account and the android device to which it is attached. They will automatically receive an invitation in the mail.
Something like this.
