How to proxy in order to hide the final ip?

Hello. Let's say there are two VDS, Nginx is installed on VDS # 1 and a certificate from Let's Encrypt is issued, and VDS # 2 will serve to hide the IP, but there must be transparent proxying so that the certificate does not fall off, but also so that the final IP is hidden. How to organize this? Using Nginx on VDS#2? If Nginx then proxy_pass?
