How to protect yourself from connecting unauthorized USB devices?

We have control over the movement of information within the organization.
In connection with this, accounting of all USB media is organized.
The task is how to organize access to the computer only for those USB drives that are taken into account, and did not react to other PCs at all (and no record of their connection was created).
If such a setting is possible, please tell me ^_^

  • In the registry from Enum \ USBSTOR we delete all prescribed media
Those flash drives that are already registered in the registry will connect and work.
To connect a new one, the user does not have enough rights to write to the registry.
Although in the context of controlling the movement of information within the organization, this will not help.
This helps to prevent the user from sticking various left flash drives.
And for if you need to avoid the uncontrolled movement of information, flash drives must be completely prohibited.

In Kaspersky, you can allow the connection of USB drives to certain users (and close them to everyone else).

USB Drive Disabler?
(I didn’t use it, I just googled it)
If not, then write a similar software. And if there are sources, then just do life is happiness, rewrite a little for yourself and voila!
By the way, this is also an option: rsdn.org/forum/delphi/2720852.all
I hope it helped ;)
