How to protect your reputation from dishonest free-lance reviews?

Good evening,

Help with advice, the customer closed the SBR deal, after the deal we worked with him outside the SBR framework. Once again - when the customer said the phrase "I did not say that" (regarding payment) - I said that I would not cooperate with him anymore.

He then wrote me a negative review, naturally throwing mud at me. And I can’t answer anything, because free-lance tells me to fill in all the fields when withdrawing money. I left positive feedback.

As a result, the customer waited 2 months and left negative feedback to me in the deal, which he himself accepted (after I said that I no longer cooperate with him).

How to stop this mess? So all customers can manipulate freelancers - waiting for time.

The best way is to create your own website, ask to leave reviews there. Obviously, you won’t be nice to everyone, so fake negative reviews are possible simply from a client who is offended. Therefore, it will obviously be more convenient to accumulate all reviews where they can be moderated by yourself. :)
And if the problem is to oust negative reviews from search results, study serm. There are few descriptions of how to deal with negative factors, they only write about building up good ones, but here there are popular options, as I understand it https://banochkin.com/s/serm/ The price tag is hell, but you can repeat it yourself.

It is simply physically impossible to please everyone - neither on freelance, on the App Store, nor anywhere else.
The only way here is to continue to do quality work so that the number of positive reviews is much greater than the negative ones. Let the groundhog choke.

The way out is obvious to me. It is necessary to wrap up with work through free-lance. The service is absolutely not loyal to freelancers.

Regarding "slander" and who should prove what to whom habrahabr.ru/post/180733/#comment_6275439 in general. In short, you don't have to prove anything.
Regarding the removal of unfair reviews habrahabr.ru/post/180733/#comment_6275633 , in the context of freelancing as a site. In short - freelancing should remove reviews that are being complained about.
And in general, read the comments and the topic there.
The truth is on your side and everything is solved, freelancing will refuse - you can sue, you will win.
Whether you need it or not is another question.

forget it, negative reviews are normal if you have positive ones, cooperation without sbr for Russian freelancing is a sin, they sinned and ran into themselves.

The only way is to abandon the SBR. The main rule for freelance arbitration is that the customer is always right, so 99% of decisions are not in favor of the performers.

Found on the internet:

Defamation is usually understood as the dissemination of false information that discredits the dignity and reputation of a person. False information, fabrications can be spread by the slanderer in different ways: in oral or written form, in public speech or in the media.
According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the dignity of a citizen is protected by the state, so the victim has the right to sue for libel. Article 129 of the Criminal Code provides for criminal liability for defamation.
The statement of claim for bringing the perpetrator to criminal liability for libel, which is filed with the Magistrate's Court, must contain:
- the name of the court where the case will be considered;
- information about the plaintiff and the defendant (full name, place of residence, passport data);
- a brief description of the fact of the crime, indicating the circumstances of the event, the place and time of its commission;
- a request to the court to accept the criminal case for proceedings;
- a list of witnesses;
- a list of documents confirming the fact of slander;
- Applicant's signature.
The applicant is informed of criminal liability for providing knowingly false information in accordance with Article 306 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an appropriate mark is placed in this statement of claim). The justice of the peace also notifies the applicant of his rights to reconcile with the citizen against whom the application is filed.
The law considers defamation also a civil offence. On this basis, the victim has the right to file a civil claim demanding compensation for material and moral damage caused by the actions of the slanderer.
The statement of claim must be accompanied by materials proving the legitimacy of the claims, for example, receipts and checks for the treatment of an aggravated disease, testimonies of witnesses, etc.

If I were you, I would consult with a lawyer and file an application with the Magistrate's Court. And as the sum of money of the claim, I would write the salary of a lawyer and more. And then I would share it with him.

Choose a platform for work that does not profess the principles: “we don’t give a damn about slaves” and “pay us everything and more, for any sneeze.”
