Do not link a bank account with a large amount to cards in general.
Make a separate account or several, separate cards, and distinguish between which ones you use for regular payments in stores, which ones for paying on the Internet on not the most secure sites, keep only non-critical amounts on these accounts, and set daily limits.

kidnapping

Perhaps insurance will help if the toad does not crush me to pay "for nothing" (every time the toad does not press me - it gnaws when I once a year carry another insurance payment for a mortgage). Or maybe it’s worth leading a lifestyle such that there is no reason to kidnap :)
device theft

Phone, laptop? Full-fledged encryption with resetting the device after N incorrect attempts. True, if you yourself forget the password - that's it, #oops.
