How to Protect Anti-Glare Coating on Macbook Pro Retina?
Dear friends, owners of Apple laptops with Retina displays, a question for you.
As far as I understand, peeling of the anti-reflective coating (or the so-called "staingate") on Pro'shki 2012-2015 release with retina is a matter of time. One way or another, it overtakes every screen (judging by the mass nature of the phenomenon).
So, how do you protect the screen of your firmware from this disease? How do you wipe, operate, move? I would like to keep the condition of my Pro 13' 2015 longer.
Thanks in advance for your advice,

Yes, do not care at all about the safety of the coating. By God, it’s better to worry about your health like that, about your teeth, for example.
I don't care about the coating, I handle it how I feel comfortable, I don't shake, as long as it's like new.
I pray for the safety of the coating every time you open the lid of the laptop. As long as it helps.
I have been using MBP for 14 years for a little over a year. The screen is like new. I wipe with microfiber without any means, in difficult places I just breathe on the screen in the old fashioned way, this is enough to clean it. I use it carefully, I don’t press on the lid, I don’t carry a laptop for it, it moves in a special backpack. There are no fingerprints on the screen and never have been. The problem is most likely a consequence of the marriage of specific screens and / or rough handling.
I have a 13'' Pro' since 2013. No problem. I wipe quite often (once a week) with monitor wipes and a black cloth that comes with the laptop.
15" 2012, microfiber with agent, the screen is normal.
Read the instructions that come with the laptop. It will be written there that only a rag can be used as in the kit and, as a last resort, water. True, this will not save you from the fingerprint of the keyboard.
Macbook pro 2014 15 inches, more than a year has passed since purchase
. I use a poppy very actively, sometimes even quite cruelly, often falls, they walk on it, jump on it, I often carry a laptop by the lid, it moves in a bag with a bunch of different incomprehensible things, in short, anything can happen
I wipe it with ordinary rags (clothes, towels), and if everything gets really bad - with water
. There are no signs of a problem.
13 "pro, lite 2013
When buying, I put on a film and plastic.
I don't care about the film, but under the plastic the sand leaves chips on the case. Advice remove the plastic bowl and wipe it from dust and sand.
Macbook Pro 13 Early 2015 also started peeling off the anti-reflective coating, I was really upset .. some kind of retina this hat is full ..
proshka 13 The anti-glare began to peel off due to the small contact between the keyboard and the screen, they replaced it in the service for free, a month passed - I see the same problem again ...
MBP 15 2014 a small bulge appeared near the webcam, more like the air remained under the film. By God, I don’t touch it, I wipe it with every pollution, which interferes with viewing the text, for example, small dust particles, for example, I always put A4 on closing, and there really are no traces of claves. Prior to that, the keyboard has a bad habit of leaving marks on the screen, even though the keyboard is even clean. That's it.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
, after a year of everyday use, began to appear, mainly around the perimeter of the screen (black fields). It did not interfere with work, but I did not wait, I replaced it under warranty. No problem, I chose the nearest ServicePRO service through the apple.com website, delivered it on Monday, and picked it up on Wednesday. This made me very happy. I have not yet figured out what exfoliation generally occurs from and how to prevent it.
