How to protect android app from ios counterpart?

Hello.
There is a published application for android, what needs to be done so that someone cannot publish an analogue for ios, for example, with the same name (and maybe even the same icon)?
As I understand it, the icon needs to be registered as a trademark?
And how to deal with the name of the same name, also register the name of the application as a trademark?
Should these registrations be Russian or international if the application is designed for the world?
Can an ordinary developer (individual) do all this?
I would be grateful for any information.

Basically a trademark. In the Russian Federation, it may be enough, but it is better than the Russian Federation + the United States.
But it is long and expensive. It may take up to a year.

Make a temporary name and a temporary icon while you are working on your application under ios
Then change it at the same time.
