How to protect a file on a flash drive from being deleted?
Hello. It is necessary to dump the promotional video on the flash drive and protect it from deletion, the space remaining on the flash drive should function normally.
Is it possible to somehow programmatically protect a file on a flash drive from deletion?

You can make 2 primary partitions, one (first) formatted under UDF (this is a file system for rewritable CDs, it will be readable on any OS, and in read-only mode), the second - regular fat32 or exfat (for flash drives more than 32GB).
When you connect a flash drive, two sections will appear at once, and if you set up autoplay from the first one, your commercial will play immediately (for those who have this stupidity not disabled).
There are rare cases when the second partition will not automatically be mounted in windows, I have not dealt with this problem, so I advise you to experiment.
It is assumed that you have Windows.
If the flash drive is FAT32, then format it in NTFS. Then play with the rights to the flash drive.
For example, leave the "List folder contents" and "Read" permissions for the root, and create a folder and give it full write permissions. Then it will be possible to write / read / work only with this folder, and the rest will be available only for reading.
