How to properly upload your application to launchpad.net?

Good afternoon. I want to ask experienced developers. I wrote a small application for Ubuntu on Lazarus. How to format it and upload it to launchpad.net?

• As far as I understand, the first step - registering on launchpad and creating a project page - is done. You can create your own mini-repository only on your page, and not on the project page, it’s not very clear to me.
• Immediately the question became how to issue an application? As I understand it, it needs to be uploaded as a deb package, and not as Lazarus copied from me.
• Another question, in what form to upload the source code?
