How to properly set up the xaml code editor in Visual Studio?
Hello. The bottom line is that I can not adequately customize the behavior of the editor for myself. I found a xaml code formatting setting in VS and set tabs and indents to 2 spaces instead of 4.
The problem manifests itself in the fact that when I open a tag, for example, and automatically close it, the resulting construction jumps one level up in the code, that is, it becomes nested like a parent element. This is wildly annoying, there are no such problems in VSCode.
Also, when I select a block of code and press Shift+Tab, the lines do not move back, but the line following the selected code is shifted.
I know, maybe not everyone has experienced such problems, but I believe there are people here who have fine-tuned the editor for themselves. I didn’t find something specific on the Internet, maybe I didn’t search well, or maybe I really didn’t, so I ask knowledgeable people to share their thoughts. Thank you!
