How to properly set up emmet in vscode?

I liked the vscode editor very much, I used to make it up in brackets, switched to VScode, everything was convenient, I installed plugins, but when I started work, two questions appeared:
1) Why does the Emmet abbreviation like bg + not work
2) Where to find the compiler, found for sass, but here for kit'a no, nowhere at all
