How to properly power the FPGA board?

Is it possible to run the S7 Mini board (TE0890-01-25-1C) with Xilinx Spartan-7 7S25 by connecting one of the 5V pins directly to the laptop USB port? What is the typical current consumption for this FPGA (it is clear that it depends on the firmware, but still)?
