For the first time I get acquainted with git, the repository is github. How to work so that everything is convenient?
There is a project, several people are involved in the development, they connected me to the project.
I did a git clone. Then I changed the project files, I was notified about the changes in the project and told to do a git pull - and problems immediately started, git asked me to do a stash - which reset all my changes in the files.
I ask you to tell me how to handle git so that it is useful, and does not seem like a thorn in the side.
