How to properly organize the search in the application?

There are initial data:
Trip (trip) - has a set of fields (from where, where, car class, price, etc.)
There is a request form that the customer fills out (parameters are the same as trip)
the result of submitting the form should be a list of trips that meet the request

very simple search (SPHINX and the like are not needed here)
how can this be done?
