How to properly organize game development?
It has long been in my dreams to make more or less something similar at least to a working prototype. No matter how much I tried, but no results - the simplest project can drag on for a long time. And the longer I try to bring to the form as I planned, the more this project bothers me. I have enough patience, I know what I want from my project. But all projects are quickly abandoned. and mainly at the stage of working with graphics. When working with code, everything is solved over time. Sobsno, the question is this: I ask for your advice on how you organize the work, what do you pay attention to first of all and how not to smash your head against the wall if nothing works? and in the end: how not to lose the desire to complete the project?

I can't simplify the task .
For example, you can use ready-made graphics (there are specialized sites with graphic primitives for game creators). If you can program, but you can't draw. Yes, it will not be quite as you would like, but it will work.
Determine the value of your future project and the possibility of earning / income (if you plan to make money on it). If this is less than your desire and the time you are willing to spend on it, there is no point in even starting to do something.
Started - then finish it!
Your success - depends only on you!

PS: If something doesn't work in the middle of the project (some separate logical part) - "bite" the manual until it works.
