How to properly install windows 8.1 on SSD?
I just built a new computer and decided to immediately install windows 8.1 on the new Corsair Force Series™ GS 128GB SATA 3 6Gb/s SSD. The problem is that after installation, Windows asks to reboot, which happens. however, the computer seems to restart, but the video signal is not received and the computer can be turned off only when the power button is held down. Also, when loading, a blue screen appears with the inscription Your Pc needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data file is missing some required information. File:\BCD. Error code 0xc0000034.
Tried both fixmbr and fixboot.. And so on.. Nothing helped. Search used, and those solutions did not help.

Generally strange. I have 8.1 on the same one and it feels great.
Maybe your BIOS boot is set incorrectly, or you install from a flash drive and the system incorrectly recognizes the boot disk during installation?
It was similar with OCZ Vertex 3. When trying to install bsods and other nasty things. Emnip solved the problem by installing it on a regular screw, and then removing-filling the image with Akronis.
Installing Windows on SSD and HDD is no different. Maybe the BIOS is not configured correctly?
