How to properly install a package from packagist.org?

I'm trying to install this package: https://packagist.org/packages/sunhater/kcfinder
In the console, using the cd command, I go to the root of the site (Kohana 3.3)
I enter the command:
php composer.phar require sunhater/kcfinder
In response, I get:

[InvalidArgumentException]
Could not find package sunhater/kcfinder at any version for your minimum-stability (stable). Check the package spelling o
r your minimum-stability

[--ignore-platform-reqs] [--sort-packages] [packages1] ... [packagesN]

What am I doing wrong? How to install correctly?

sunhater /kcfinder only has the dev-master version, but you have the " minimum-stability " property in your composer.json set to stable . Put "minimum-stability: dev" and everything will work.
