How to properly create a folder for ftp and add users?

Initially, I created a user userftp , added him to the sudo group , pointed him to the chroot directory dir2

/var/www/dir1/dir2/dir3
/var/www/dir1/dir2/dir4

The rights to the directories were assigned to him with his own group - 755/ 644
Now it was necessary to add sometimes other users there, but in different folders with write permissions.
That is, so that they have access to their specified chroot directories, for example, someone here

/var/www/dir1/dir2/dir3

someone here

/var/www/dir1/dir2/dir4 vsFTPd

@Zoominger

Get these users and specify the necessary directories as their home directory.
Well, forbid to get out of the home directory.
