How to properly compress an image?

Hello. There was a problem creating the mockup. The image of the phone is clear, but the screenshot itself is blurry. At the same time, the screenshot itself on an enlarged scale looks much clearer. How can I properly compress a screenshot so that it does not lose clarity when scaled down?

Paste just as is or through Smart Object? If "as is", then try through Smart Object. It will not help - try to reduce through Image - Image Size with different Resample. Well, let's not forget about the sizes and their correspondence.
