The computer has been in the premises of avid vapers for many years. Who does not know: vaping is the inhalation of the vapors of a special liquid through an electronic cigarette. The composition of the liquid is glycerin and propylene glycol, and flavors. Evaporation settles, and the insides of the computer become slimy - some spare parts are only slightly, but on the video card a puddle has already settled (apparently because of its parallelism to the floor), mixed with dust, became conductive and, as a result, something shorted out in one place between two tiny contacts. A cinder formed there, which was successfully scraped off along with the contacts themselves (I don’t know what to call them correctly in fact - such small metal rectangles on the surface of the board).

Initially, the reason for opening the computer was sudden and abundant glitches on the monitor and the constant death of the video driver. An autopsy, in general, showed what the Chukchi died from. Well, actually the subject - how to clean the computer from these snot, until they have closed something else?

in such a room, I would simply run the "clean air" with an aluminum corrugation to the power supply fan, it just works for blowing. and there will be no traces of vapers inside the computer :)

Glycerin and propylene glycol (and fragrances too) are easily washed off with water. That is, you can take an old toothbrush and stupidly rub the boards (without fanaticism) constantly bathing the brush, the main thing is to dry it in the oven at 50-80 degrees for at least half an hour, if it is by hand. Or soak in isopropyl alcohol for a day, then take it out, rub it with a brush and dry it, you can already without an oven.

I don't think that you can somehow clean this thing under the socket, under the chips between the balls, etc., but I advise you to take a closer look at the ventilation of the room, is it available? because such goodness should be well ventilated, and it will only set in if the whole room is paired like in a bathhouse.
