How to promote your work on Behance?
Good night friends! I think that it was at this time that the peak of activity of IT masters :)
So, what is the essence of the question. I have long heard about the Behance website, that you can start well there, even find customers, which sometimes they write to you. And after the publication of several works (which I had already deleted, since the quality was not very good), I became interested in how to promote my work on the site for
designers and harmoniously. That you can also sometimes do some kind of freebie (free icons, mockups or interfaces), and most importantly, put the inscription free on the cover of the work, then success is inevitable.
Tried to publish free interface
behance.net/gallery/19644137/Storm-messenger-(FREE-PSD)
after
mockup behance.net/gallery/24169321/Perspective-Screen-Mock-Up-(free)
, but did not get the proper result. Although he seems to have made them well.
So how to promote your work, I would like to hear advice from people who have fairly popular work (1,000-2,000 views).
Thank you for your attention!

For your work to be noticed, you need someone with a large number of followers to like this work. Then, in turn, his followers will see it in their feed (and, by extension, your work). Then the process proceeds like an avalanche: one likes it, his followers saw it and one of them also liked it, etc. In order to start this process, you need at least 100 followers (and you only have 10 so far). Where do you get these followers? For example, you can follow designers yourself, like, comment on other people's work. In a word, do everything to be noticed and followed. By the way, often people follow back, so don't be lazy, follow more interesting designers.
About all sorts of free stuff. To ride this, the work must be very cool. Not just some kind of volumetric die in the form of a smart object, but something that is usually sold out on graphicriver or creativemarket. Something that I really would like to download and use in my work. Here you can’t immediately say whether it’s easier to move forward in this way.
And about the design of the project - yes. The fatter, the better. Ideally, the project itself should be interesting, with lots of details to dwell on, etc. All this is included in a kind of presentation that can be viewed with interest. Another good feature is to talk about the creation process. Many novice designers (and not only beginners) are dragged from when you paint the process step by step (but not in the form of a lesson, but only a general description).
I actively attract traffic to my beehans and dribbble profile. Social services work a little. networks - placement in thematic groups, but the traffic from there is small and there are practically no orders, but the statistics (likes, views) are growing. The most effective thing that works is paid promotion from betop.me . They have likes, views, comments, subscribers. Traffic comes from registered users, which is important when promoting. I mainly use paid promotion, although sometimes I complete tasks on their website so that behavioral factors increase in my beehans and dribble accounts (like my profile is active), it seems that this also affects the positions of cases.
You can complete tasks and use the earned coins to cheat yourself for free. at least it won't get worse, I've already promoted a lot of work, there were no bans. If the case is good, the curators are kind and the stars converge, then my works get into the galleries)
But of course, you won’t be fed up with just one cheat. It is necessary to make an adequate design, draw out cases and shots in detail and correctly (look in Google, there are many articles on the design for bihans and dribble).
I think you will succeed, good luck! :)
I recently posted my second web design job on behance. Nobody reposted the first one and there were few views. The second one immediately began to be reposted and this helped me collect a lot of views in a week and even find three customers. It really depends a lot on how you design it.
2 cases:
1. Good article on VC https://vc.ru/design/51884-kak-poluchit-pervye-zak...
2. Spam Use different traffic acquisition channels: https://www.behance.net/enoe
1. Do something really worthwhile.
2. If you want to move quickly, you can use services like BehanceR .
For designers with a limited budget, or in general, with its absence, there is a telegram bot that works on the principle of mutual assistance. Doesn't require any investment. There is also a bot for promoting Dribbble shots. Links to bots below.
