Good afternoon. There was a question.
Prior to this, I was engaged in the promotion of a business account on Instagram through mass following / mass liking. There were no questions here - you parse competitors and work on their audience. The result was good.
But, when I decided to try to promote my personal account in the same way (subject: photography), I came across the fact that people are not so willing to subscribe to me (probably ten times less).
The question is the following. Please give the most practical advice on the promotion of a personal account.
And then there is the issue of hashtags. From what I understand, they don't work so well anymore. I do this - I select about 60 thematic hashtags with a frequency of less than 1,000,000. Then I put a description of 30 hashtags under the post. After about 5-10 minutes, I delete the description and put the remaining 30 in the comments. Does this technique work or does it need to be improved somehow.

There are different mass fall strategies, experiment and watch the conversion.
My highest conversion was 40 percent, but above 8 percent is already considered good.
The most effective strategies from personal experience - you select accounts with similar topics, but more promoted, it is imperative that the number of likes be correlated with the number of subscribers. You parse subscribers, filter with a large list of negative words (direct, viber, advertising, nails, etc., etc.) and add them to the list for mass fall.
And the second strategy is almost the same, only instead of promoted accounts you take your subscribers with accounts of a similar theme, this is when the audience has already gathered normally.
