How to promote free training with a limited budget?
Actually the question is: we are conducting a free 3-day training on self-development, we are faced with a banal problem - how to gather people for it with a limited budget? There are also plans to launch other trainings on excess weight and depression, and there, I suspect, there will be the same problem ...
In principle, I am interested in possible options for advertising and attracting people to such events, which ones can I try and test?
Already tried:
1. Place ads on Instagram through the sociate exchange with 4 bloggers. At a cost of about 1,000 rubles, less than 10 people came to us.
2. Placed an ad on VKontakte with a self-development blogger who has about a million subscribers. Expenses 1700 - arrival of 8 people.
3. Google Ads. Compiled semantics on the topic of seminars, marathons, training, coaching, etc. (18K+ search phrases), limited the cost of a click to no more than 12 rubles. - as a result, there are almost no ad impressions, respectively, and clicks too. Either no one is asking for such requests, or the price is too low and my ads are not shown. There is no desire and opportunity to set the price higher, and I am afraid to drain the budget.
I’ll also try to launch Direct, but if there is no effect in Adwords, then you probably shouldn’t rely on Direct either ...
What else can you try to do on your own? What do you advise?
(Yes, the budget, enthusiasm and interest are exclusively personal, I can’t spend more than 2-3 thousand on one test yet)
After all the attempts, now I don’t understand at all - how do other people gather people for online and offline events, especially for some one-time events?

"Mom, I'm fine. I'm raking in money with a shovel. Please send money for a new shovel ..."
According to your profile , all your traffic should come from word of mouth
Okay, Google, here you are doing free training with advertising costs.
And now the question, dear experts, how will you recoup the money invested?
The subject of self-development, personal growth and other things was burned out and trampled down at the beginning of 2000.
When the people carried their hard-earned money to all sorts of bad people.
Now this is all, it works, of course, but much, much less often. And this is good.
Well, this. Those who want to get their ass off the couch don't subscribe to self-development publics.
You incorrectly determined the habitat of your target audience. Or maybe they didn’t even define their target audience at all.
Start at least with a figurative portrait of the person you are looking for.
