How to prohibit changes in the settings of the router or how to make sure that I am not disconnected from it?

There is only one router for two with a neighbor, and he often cheats with speed cuts in favor of his torrents, to the point that he turns off my client devices for several hours, but this is not very good for me, because. all the work is worth it. He is not a very good person in life and prudence, and pulling another provider is expensive and not cost-effective (the apartment is rented).
I set up dynamic MAC addresses on my devices, screened the wps pin of the router, but the vein plays that it can become impudent and change the password for Wi-Fi. How can you protect yourself in this case? The router can be considered mine (it is in the neighbor's room, because the cord is not enough), we are not afraid of criminal liability)

Let them set up your priorities so that you can see, and let the password be divided in half and given to you: each half.
And the end of the problem.

The router can be considered mine (

Wrong. The router may be legally yours (purchased by you), but in fact it is a neighbor's one, because a neighbor can reset its settings to default at any time and you are unable to stop him from doing this :)

You can change the password for the admin panel, but it can be reset to the factory one with one button.
So in general, if a neighbor is so stubborn, he will still do his dirty work)

Extend the patch cord to your room. If your router is removed. Break your neighbor's nose... I can't give technical advice)
