How to programmatically improve sound in Linux distributions?

I install Linux on my computer to listen to music and watch movies.
My Windows even with DFX Enhancer sounds worse than Linux without settings (fedora, kubuntu)
On Linux, apart from multimedia and listening to music, I do nothing, so I want to improve the sound for more profit.
Of the methods that work and I tried there is PulseEffects - and also on the github there are presets for it with which the sound becomes much better and cleaner.

Use ALSA instead of Pulse Audio.
