In general, it looks quite simple.
We took the original photo, converted it to BW, added a layer on top. Fill it with the desired color and set the layer style to multiplication.

In most cases, a Gradient Map adjustment layer will help. Set the extreme values ​​​​of the gradient in the narrow range you need and the whole picture will fit into it.
But if your background is white, and there are areas on the model that need to be made lighter than the background in the final version, then you will have to make a mask and affect the model and background to varying degrees.
