How to print documents through cups not in one file, but in several?

Sorry if the question is stupid. I have a Print-to-File printer set up. Sometimes you need to print several documents in a queue, as a result, only the last document gets into the /tmp/printerOutput file. And I would like to get something like printerOutput.1, printerOuput.2 ... printerOutput.N
