I have an sqlite database in my application.

The user can go to his phone settings-> applications-> my application
And there you can clear the cache, it's not scary, but you can also clear the application data, including the database.
How to make sure that the database is not deleted during cleaning?

Backup to the cloud and restore. You can still save to the SD card, but you can also delete it from there.
