How to prevent automatic management of Desktop Spaces in Mac OS X?

Mac OS X has a wonderful feature - virtual desktops (desktop spaces \ virtual desktop \ etc.). It seems that there is some mechanism for the intelligent arrangement of these desktops. Let's say I have 3 desktops, in the sequence 1 - 2 - 3, it happens that the system itself changes their location to some other one (apparently, it tries to put closer those desktops that are used more often than others). How to ban it?
There is an unpleasant moment, it happens that different programs (for example, Mail, Skype, Source Tree ...) are transferred to another desktop. How to forbid the program itself to determine which desktop it is on and stay only where it is located?

On the first point: Why does OS X Mountain Lion change the order of desktops?
On the second question. Right click on the application icon in the Dock -> Options -> This desktop. Now the windows of this application will always be only on this desktop.
