How to prevent a specific URL from being opened in android?

I am writing an application, I want a specific URL if it contains a link, and the user clicks on it ... then nothing happens.
Is it possible to do this, or are there any alternative solutions?

So after all WebViewClient intercepts any links clicked in WebView.
