How to present a layout portfolio to a customer?

Good day.
The question arose, how interesting it is to present your portfolio to the customer?
It’s easier for designers, I made a full page with the design and uploaded it to behance and you rejoice.
You can do it like everyone else, make a portfolio, and send links to the layout to the customer, but you want something interesting, something that others don’t have. I saw something on html-css-js.ru
, something not like everyone else, it presents both html code and css
pace, and so to speak, the customer sees for what work he pays.
I'd love to hear everyone's advice.

There are finished studios and customers who ask to complete a test task (usually as simple as possible) and they put a bolt on the portfolio)
And yes, such a normal idea.
Most importantly, keep the repository with the code with you. Serious people look exactly there.

If the customer needs examples of work, he wants to see the code and evaluate its quality. Screenshots and videos did not rest on him anywhere.

Main advice. No show off.
Just give links to the sites that you did and that's it, if he wants, he will call, write, hire, but if not, then nothing will help ...
