How to politely refuse a contract?

I found a client (more precisely, he found me himself).
Signed the NDA, all the cases, accepted the offer.
I opened the project, to put it mildly, I was surprised by what was happening and somehow I don’t really want to deal with it. An hour dug just something.
Is it possible to somehow refuse it while we are at the "initial stage"? Of course, with a refund and so on. Can a customer solder a bad review?
Thanks

Can. Come up with an excuse for the client. The client closes the contract.
Maybe. There are no guarantees here. Lottery.

Tell the client directly, this is normal.
