How to place new objects in the active element in figma?

When a new object is created, it appears at the very top of the frame. How to make an object appear in the active, selected block? Terribly annoying!

I won’t refer to the official source, because I can’t find this message anymore, but this issue is being actively discussed on the Figma forum , they promise to fix it in an upcoming update. Follow here for updates .
For now, there is no other way.
