How to place an image that crosses two columns (TeX)?

I am a total newbie to TeX. There was a problem: we need text typed in two columns, while the image is in both of them - in general, as in the example. Plus, how to start counting pages not from the first, but from any other?

@krypt3r

need text typed in two columns

Use something like the preamble
or the multicols environment from the multicol package.
It is unlikely to succeed, at best, a "long" picture can be placed at the beginning of another page.
In the preamble of the document (in the example, start counting from the 4th page)
