How to place a partition on different physical disks?

I want to place a partition on ssd and hdd at the same time, I want to place a root partition on ssd, but since it is small, I want to place part of it on hdd. The most logical thing that comes to mind is to create a partition on the ssd, create another partition on the hdd and link some folders from the hdd to the ssd. How can this be done smarter? And is it possible?

In principle, a normal way if you want to specify what needs to be accelerated.
Or buy a bigger ssd and not worry.
