How to ping a resource from a backup internet (port) on Mikrotik?

I have Mikrotik with 2 providers on ethernet1 ports - main (in distance 1 routes) and ethernet5 - backup (distance 2). The transition to the backup occurs with the help of Netwach and scripts that simply change the distance in the routes.
I'm interested in ping from the backup interface (ethernet5) i.e. - ping 8.8.8.8 interface=ethernet5 but in response 100% packet loss . Pings go only through the interface that is now the main one, that is, which has distance 1 in the routes .
But how to ping with 2 interfaces?
P.S. Played with Ip/firewall/mangle mark connection and routing but something doesn't work.

@akelsey

Need to create a route to 8.8.8.8 via Ethernet5
IP -> Routes

@l0ser140

interface in the ping command is used for ipv6
Use ping with the route parameter, and add a route for tagged connections in the routing (and prohibit such connections from looking for routes in the main routing table, otherwise pings will go even if the backup Internet has fallen - through the main one)

And if so:
where is 192.168.253.1 the address on the ethernet5 interface
