How to permanently delete emails in Exchange 2010?
Good day!
There is exchange 2010, I delete letters from boxes by means of Search-Mailbox -Identity -SearchQuery '' -DeleteContent.
I want to make sure that with such a deletion, letters are permanently deleted, and do not end up in the purge folder.
After deletion, the Search-Mailbox -Identity -SearchDumpsterOnly request returns 0 objects, hence I conclude that the first request removes letters from delitions as well, but I still can’t figure out that they haven’t been purged.
UPD:
sorry, you can see the status of purge with the following command:
Get-MailboxFolderStatistics -Identity -FolderScope RecoverableItems | Format-Table Name,FolderAndSubfolderSize,ItemsInFolderAndSubfolders -Auto
Shows 0 items. As I understand it, exchange could not "hide" deleted letters anywhere else?))
