How to pass the verification of the VKontakte community?

I am developing one service, the essence and content of which are not related to the question. There is a VKontakte group. Recently, various ill-wishers have begun to create clones of the group, steal content, offer their services on our behalf and do other rubbish. Knowing that VK has a community verification tool, I decided to write to support, explaining the situation.
The answer was expected, saying: "Verification of communities is a very rare and difficult matter, a group must have many clones, a brand must be described on Wikipedia, etc. You yourself understand that no one is going to verify your trifle."
However! It is worth getting into the search for groups and starting to drive in random queries, as we will see a bunch of half-dead groups, with headings like Movie.ru, St. Petersburg Swingers or hostelskazani.ru. The number of participants often does not exceed 2-3 thousand people, and there can be no question of any fame.
So how does VKontakte verification work anyway? Maybe there are people here close to the circles, so to speak, of verifiers? One gets the feeling that somewhere in the wilds of the VK bureaucracy there should be a special service for assigning the status of a verified community.
