I already have this experience. I got access to the instagram API. I will describe step by step what needs to be done:
1. Log in to Instagram
2. Go to the documentation section https://www.instagram.com/developer/ . There is a Register You Application button
3. A page with the Developer Signup form will open, where you need to specify your website address, phone number and a description of the application using the Instagram API.
4. As the site address, I indicated the company's website (there is no information about the application), my phone number. In the description, in English, in general terms, he described what kind of application I have and what data it takes through API
5. I waited a week, then I noticed that by clicking on Manage Clients, it is proposed to register the application and get the keys.
